Mobility+ test panel delivers positive results

Following the introduction of Mobility+, a supplement specifically developed for the stiff joints of our four-legged friends, we conducted an evaluation study. We are proud to present the results.

What is Mobility+?

Mobility+ is a nutritional supplement that provides targeted support to dogs with joint problems such as osteoarthritis or hip dysplasia. It’s a common misconception that only older dogs or dogs that are (severely) overweight have less flexible joints. Trauma, poor nutrition, or hereditary factors can also cause joint problems.

Mobility+ is a supplement made from 100% pure and natural ingredients. UC-II® is a collagen found primarily in cartilage and beneficial for joints. Adding UC-II® promotes natural repair of cartilage and synovial fluid in and around joints. Curcumin is known as a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pain reliever. The patented curcumin extract is up to 270x more absorbable than regular curcumin. Ovomet® not only strengthens the ligaments and tendons around joints but also lubricates them.

Scientific research shows that the unique composition of Mobility+ contributes to targeted support of the joints.

What did the test panel look like?

A total of 24 dogs participated in the study, 42% male and 58% female. A full 11 dogs were over 11 years old, and their weight was almost evenly distributed, with 54% under 20 kg and 46% 20 kg and over.

Of the dogs in the group, the majority had difficulty getting up and walking was difficult or slow. Other visible symptoms included pawing, collapsing, or cringing when touched. In summary, the most common joint problems were stiffness in 33% of cases and osteoarthritis in 29% of cases.

The course and results of the study

The study lasted eight weeks, with each dog receiving one capsule daily. After just four weeks, 14 dogs were in good condition, and after eight weeks, this had increased to 17 dogs. Unfortunately, a handful of dogs didn’t experience significant improvements, some of which were likely related to their weight (over 55 kg) or advanced disease. Therefore, we concluded that the dosage for heavy dogs should be two capsules per day.

The “very poor” to “poor” group decreased from 42% to 13%. over the course of 8 weeks. The “moderate” to “good” group increased from 8% to as much as 71% over the course of 8 weeks. The effect of Mobility+ during the study has yielded positive and promising results for dogs with joint problems.

Why is the price of Mobility+ high?

The suggested retail price of €49,95 for 60 capsules is definitely a considerable amount. Extensive research has been conducted into the effects and production methods of the three patented nutrients (UC-II, Ovomet, and curcumin). Because one capsule per day is sufficient, the price per day is €0,83. Compared to traditional supplements based on glucosamine or chondroitin, this is certainly reasonable, regardless of the fact that Mobility+ is incomparable in terms of composition.
